BFG stopped making their 5900 the DAY before I was going to order it. OMFG. Just thought I would inform other hopefull buyers... that really was the deal of the century... $175, flash it to 5950, and with its cooling, it overclocked like mad.... I'm sooooo pissed right now.

I just did that. Actually, I got it for $155 off of pricewatch.... this really is the deal of the century... if you want to upgrade from a 9600/5700/lower, definatly jump on this, it can be flashed to 5950U and clocked faster than anything. Definatly a great buy.

my friend jus tbought one too, we had to go through 5 reser ratings searches before finding a company with a measly 7.5 rating, and that was 15 minutes and 30$ later, now hes paying 180$ insted of 165$, but he knows he'll get the right card at least

Hope you have better luck than I did. Got mine in today, and it wont work at all.

Yep, the only 5900s that NVidia will continue to make will be the (relatively) expensive 5900U and the somewhat crippled 5900XT/SE.

http://www.enpc.com/cgi-bin/enpc/aslm5900_128.html has it for $171.49 shipped. That's where I got mine. It's a full retail card with the VIVO cable and Video Studio 7 SE. I flashed mine to the A380 5950U BIOS and it works great. The memory on the card is Hyundai 2.2ns.

This is probably the best stand-alone video card deal I've ever bought. Dell is another story when they had 9800s and 9700s for +$129 with a system order :D.
