I'm F'd PLEASE HELP

My WD80 got a SMART error yesterday, and I can not get it to ghost to the new drive.
What I need mostly are the game saves that I have. Please, if you know the location of the save file's for the following games PLEASE reply.

GTA: San Andreas
Fear
Prey
NFSU2
Far Cry
Doom 3
Criminal Origins (spelling not right)

Those are the main one that I have been playing for the past year. There are a couple more that I can't remember the name of, but those 7 are the ones I desperatly need to save.

If you can help please do.

Im pretty sure the gta: san andreas file is very easy to find. Usually its right under My Computer under "gtasanandreas user files".

I know GTASA normally stores them in a folder in your My Documents, and so should NFS2 (all EA's games do that). Fear, Far Cry, and Doom should all be in save or config folders within the application folders for each game.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ for some games (Its a hidden folder so view hidden folders needs to be on)

I have noticed alot of games putting the saved stuff in your "My Documents/my games" folder. A continuing trend that is forcing me to keep my C:\ partition larger than I ever wanted it to be.

Annoying, I know... but there's a good reason for it - multiple users on the same machine get their own configs/saves.

BTW, you can move My Documents to another drive if you want.

Windows Vista makes use of a "My Games" feature which allows game developers to do some pretty spiffy UI things with saved games and such. It should be at least moderately cool.

Even under XP storing files in \Documents and Settings\Username or \Documents and Settings\All Users is the PROPER way to do things so that your game/program is compatable with Limited User Accounts.

Vistas "Windows Game Explorer" doesn't require you to use these directorys though.
