Hey all. I randomly keep getting a page popping up on the Hard site today when I click a link...the link can be from the front page to the forums or an embedded link on a post. It takes me to ilivid download manager. Any ideas whats going on?
 
I would run malwarebytes on your system and see what comes up. Nothing on [H] could generate that to the best of my knowledge, and I haven't heard of anyone else reporting this. Did you actually install the ilivid download manager, is it in your add/remove programs menu?
 
did not install anything...anti virus and malwarebytes turns up nothing. Just happened again clicking link to forums from front page.

Well from my googling, ilivid is a valid piece of software, if you see anything pop up again grab a screenshot. I would check your browser add-ons just to make sure it's not hiding in there somehow.
 
I cannot make this happen with any browser and we have not other reports of this issue from the tens of thousands of other users. I have looked at the code and see no issues with it or site security, so I am going to have to say the issue is on your end.

If you find out what the problem is caused by, please let us know here.
