Did Intel start using a thermal epoxy to seal the IHS to the die when the Northwoods came out? Or did they start using it when the Prescotts were released?
 
IIRC they started with the Prescotts. Someone should back me up though, I'm not 100% sure.
 
I was actually going to say the opposite, but obviously I'm not 100% sure either :)

They used to use a weaker sealant, I don't know what it was but it wasn't as tough to get rid of as the epoxy.
