If anyone wants to make suggestions directly to the head of Vizio, he started a forum post...

LeEco bought them but they probably have at least one more product cycle before they fire everyone and move everything to China.

i hope they actually listen to the input lag complaints. i don't know why even with everything disabled tvs still have 15+ ms of input lag and if it's even feasible to have less with all the features tvs need but damn i would probably consider buying one if they had a mode with 5 ms or less input lag.

everybody already knows that you just watch porn all day.

Well yeah. Anyone who's seen my huge, furry palms would know this...

Yeah exactly! I want a Dumb TV.

Not so much a dumb TV. It's kinda nice not needing a secondary device for things like Amazon and Netflix at times. I just detest the device collecting stats on me, possibly spying on me, etc.

True the convenience of not having an extra box is nice, but the only reason manufacturers can even do the data collection and tracking is because TV can run the programs capable of doing the job of the secondary device. I still want a Dumb TV. :)

It would be amazing if we could get some freesync non PWM low input lag TVs for couch gaming. Not really holding my breath though.

Suggestion: stop making up specifications for marketing purposes and only advertise what your TVs actually do, not what they don't (like 4:4:4)

Introduce thin non FALD line. The often cited dynamic range 1000000:1 dynamic range is a misnomer, because at any given time human eye static dynamic range don't exceed 1000:1 (and I have seen numbers even lower than that). Be realistic: a user is not going to wait an hour to adapt his eye to night vision (which BTW would be ruined with the next daytime scene), therefore 7000:1 contrast offered by Samsung KS8000 line is more than enough. If you are still not convinced, then go to rtings, and take a note where they say "dynamic contrast ineffective, so we disabled it".

Add tuner back, it costs pennies. Get rid of smart crap.

P.S. Don't forget to fire those morons who suggested that short TVs are the future of entertaining (those responcible for unfamous VIZIO XVT-Series 58" 21:9 Cinemawide).

I like everything about my P series except the SmartCast android device. Honestly it was less painful using the shitty integrated apps Vizio had previously. I fight with SmartCast now on a daily basis, the thing just isn't responsive enough and it glitches out on me a fair amount. More than 50% of the content I watch is Netflix/Hulu too so I'm constantly using it. It was a cool concept having a phone/phablet as a remote butttt it needs some serious fine tuning, and sucks to be the people like myself who have it in it's first iteration. The P series itself is a fantastic TV though, can't be beaten for the price. And no I don't use it for gaming so I have no comment on 4:4:4 chroma shit.
