The danger den 8800gtx blocks are avail for preorder to ship next week from Frozencpu. They only have 8 left as I yoinked the 2 first ones. Hopefully I can post this here. I dont work for them and I know they are a few bucks more expensive than most everyone. But for those of us day 1 8800gtx owners that dont care about price. Go for it.
 
Well, The placement of the RAMDAC is slightly different, not to mention some of the Vreg circuitry is taller on the GTX board.

I'm pretty sure DD's site says "GTX only" but if I'm wrong, I'll be really happy.
 
I wouldn't even waste my time on the DD blocks... They are rather poorly manufactured when you look at the internals. Thankfully though Petra will be stocking EK's blocks and res's.

Source? I like DD alot, I would be pretty disappointed if they messed up that block :(
 
There is a thread on it over at extreme systems I believe. The EK block will be my choice.
