IE Problem

I am having two problems with IE and I was hoping someone can help out:

1.) When I right click a link and choose "open in new tab", the tab will open but the page won't load. If i copy/paste the url into the opened tab it works. Any ideas?

2.) My ctrl-f doesn't work anymore in IE. I press it and the find box doesn't pop up.
