IE not working, but everything else works! Please Help!

Hi,
I have an issue. The Internet Explorer 7 on my Windows Vista Home Premium is not working.

Windows Live Messenger logs on, Firefox works flawlessly, all the widgets update correctly, its just IE that doesn't work.

When I try to open a URL, it says either "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" or "The address is not Valid"

I tried resetting IE, i also tried to open IE without the addon's!

I would appreciate it if you guys could provide me with a solution... Thanks in advance!
 
under the File menu, right above Exit, "Work Offline" doesn't happen to be checked, does it?
 
Thanks for the response, but ya i checked it is NOT in "work offline mode" :(

Please anyone?
 
You could try "Tools", "Internet Options", "Connections" tab. Then rerun the setup wizard?
 
you could also check to make sure that IE is set to automatically discover proxy settings (even if you don't have a proxy).
