Anyone know whats up with the option in Internet Explorer.. File menu -> Send -> Page by e-mail? We have a link on our intranet that links to a word doc that they have to fill out. When they click the link, IE opens up the link in.. IE with word imbedded.. so many users are tring to send the word doc by going to the Send option. When they use that option I don't know what IE is doing, but it turns it into a .HTM, and corrupts it (changing it back to .doc doesn't work.. tring to open it up in IE doesn't work..)
Anyways, it gets frusterating explaining to users over and over that they need to "save as" open up a e-mail, and drag the file into it.. especially when the normal response is "it's too hard, what's your fax number" and the process goes on from there because we usually don't take faxes for this type of thing,...
