IE freezing up on certain websites?

I recently built a new computer with a fresh install of XP 64 bit. Everything works great - except ocassional problems with IE7. When I go to certain websites, for example dell.com, comcast.net, and a few others, it totally freezes up. Otherwise it works fine. Like right now I'm using it to make this post. Anybody have any idea why this would be happening?

And NO I'm not switching to firefox, so don't even say it.

Try IE with no addons. I forget where that option is though.
