IE and firefox "offline"

[Ori]

Hi, i currently have a problem with IE and firefox. When I click to open them it goes to the main page-google, and from there it says "offline". I thought it was the router causing a problem but I have a laptop connected to it and the laptop works perfect, just not the desktop. Also, the desktop was working fine but then all of a sudden it wouldnt go online. What do you guys think is wrong?
Thanks
