IE - Accidentally unchecked the "Always ask before opening this type of file" box

ok somehow I managed to check the "Always ask before opening this type of file" box for zip files

and now can't get them to download properly

right click save as does not work on all sites

anyone know where the setting is to change this back?

Uum, I've done this before as well but can't quite remember what to do. Did you check the Winzip configuration or properties area within the program and FileTypes?

well I don't use winzip, I just use winxp default

and I looked all thru internet explorers settings and can't seem to find it

maybe it's in the registry?
 
in windows explorer.. folder options.. file types.. *.zip.. and check the one that ask after download complete
 
this happened me before. When I was typing I hit a key that corresponded to that box and it got unchecked. Thank you CyC
