Ok, Im getting a new water setup (my first). It's going to be for a custom case Im making at moment. Parts:
Chevette Heatercore
Via Aqua 1300
$25
DTEK white water
$15

Good prices huh? XD
And I plan on getting a black ice micro II later on.

Here's some pics so you can see what I plan on doing.

I got to redo the front acrylic as I made a few too many wholes.

Here's what I got so far, btw the 2nd 5.25" drive bay will be for a coolermaster cooldrive 4 which will house the HD. The optical drive currently in there is simply a test drive and the final product will use a black optical drive.

Here you can see where I plan on mounting the fans, they will be external and will align with the 5.25 inch drives. The fans will probably be 80mm aluminum frame fans

Here's where the heatercore will be mounted. it will be internal and the fan will be mounted externally on the side panel (which I still have to make)

lmk what you think so far  Also, I want to use non conductive liquid, anyone know of any good stuff?

MCT-5 ummmm PC ICE but only the clear stuff theres a few...

looks nice so far i wanna see some in the middle of working on shots though :p

pc ice? I was looking into that but I read that there is a residue or something and you can't add anything to it like uv, I want uv water :p Ill try to find some pics of constructing it

Went to home depot today and bought tubing and barbs for my water cooling setup. Got a t barb to make a fill port. Ill upload some pics shortly, imageshack is being a pita :(

Looks interesting so far, watercooling in smaller cases like that is always a challenge.

yea i wasnt sure if you wanted UV i may have missed you saying that, thats why i said clear stuff only :p its a powder actually 0_0

Distilled water is non conductive no? So can I just add the uv stuff to distilled and get the same results?

Pure water is considered a nonconductor, but pure water doesn't stay pure very long.

Yes I was thinking that the water would pick up some stuff from the copper.

Even distilled water will allow galvanic corrosion if you've got copper and aluminum parts in the same loop. Ions from one metal dissolve in the water, run over to the other metal, and cause corrosion. You can put additives in that will inhibit the corrosion, or you can opt to use parts that are all made with the same metal, in order to avoid the problem.

front panel acrylic going to be black as well, with right black and left clear. Just waiting for new acrylic and my water cooling parts

thanks, gonna have to wait a few days before I can update since I need to wait for gfx card, acrylic and water parts

when you said you were getting a black ice micro, were you changing the heatercore out for it? If so, eew.

But i cant wait to see how its gonna turn out, i like the handle on the top. What have you planned exactly for the front, any lighting? I think that some led's drilled into the acrylic would look good. I was going to do something like that to light up a window.

the barbs are plastic for the T, im pretty sure the chevette is copper, and i dont know if the WW is copper or not =S

no, I was planning to do dual rads, chevette and black ice, however I couldnt really find a micro II so until I do it will just be the heatercore until I can find a micro II for a decent price. Lighting I'm still not sure. I should get my acrylic and pump and stuff in a few days, I should have un update by then :D

can you get a replacement set of brushes for the dremel's motor? Or is it the bearing (im sure you can replace that too)

Very nice man. You got a window on there? If not I would recommend it to avoid the little dust people that will come conquer any non-enclosed computer.
