updated my drivers to 5.9 4 days ago. last night, i tried to play hl2 and I got this error: "idirect3ddevice:present()" then i get a memory error after that. i already tried going back to the old catalyst 5.8 drivers, relaxed my memory timings, reduced my oc (2.8ghz - 1.8ghz), reformatted, reinstalled the directx, and still no go.

when i reformatted, i installed the 5.9 drivers, when that still didn't work, i uninstalled it then installed the 5.8s.

i'm gonna try reformatting then installing the 5.8 drivers instead.

in the mean time, do you guys have any other ideas???

thanks!
