I want to remove Libreoffice 6.2.0 from my system and install a stable release. 6.2.0 is dog slow, so slow it's unacceptable. None of the instructions I've found work, but then again I can't find any specific to 6.2.0.

Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.3

Please help. :(

When I

sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice*

I get about 1000 "so not removed". and 6.2.0 is still there.

Do you mind posting the full output? It sounds like something is blocking apt from removing it.

Try it without the --purge

Shouldn't make any difference but it may be trying to delete something it shouldn't

Waaay too much code to post, board won't allow that much.

I tried it without the --purge and the results looked the same. It looks like it's saying that Libreoffice is not installed. But it is.

Could use pastebin or something of the sorts.
