I just bought this Biostar Ideq 200v and from the very minute of opening the box, I have had nothing but problems.

System has :
XP2600 NON Barton
2x 512 PC2700
SATA Seagate 120 GB HD
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

I load OS very smooth then all the sudden the temps climb to 72C and shuts down. I still have yet to use this thing. I know I should have got the 200N but money wouldn't allow it.

I have opened the case, added a slot cooler, removed the video , replaced the Fan and heatsink, still temps are high.

Anybody have this SFF and are you having troubles with it. Please help. If this is the wrong place to post please move to right one.

Thanks in advanced.

See if you can return it and get a Shuttle :)

Are you sure the HSF is spinning properly?

Make sure your HSF isn't getting caught up on the socket.... it happens.

Also make sure that your thermal compound or thermal pad is doing its job. If you still have problems, apply some good thermal compound like AS3 or AS5 or that OCZ stuff. Can't hurt at $5 a tube.

I have tried all that still to hot. I put my XP 2400 in and it worked great. Must be my 2600. RMA time AGAIN.
