Ideas for mounting drives/mobos/etc

I am looking at building a case out of old carcass of a radio(old wooden tabletop model from the 40s) I was just curious what peeps have done or what ideas reside out there for 3.5 and 5.25 drive cages, mounting plates etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. Have a full wood shop and access to a metal shop. Anyhow thanks again.

Most people salvage existing parts from other computers. This goes for drive cages, motherboard trays, motherboard backplanes, expansion slots, etc.
