I'm on a tight budget but I want to get some decent sound. One solution is edifier r1600t for £50. I have been trying to look second hand but haven't found anything worth buying.
I have however come across decent bookshelf speakers but would need something to power them. I have found some cheap pairs of denon and Technics I can pick up but I'm not sure what to power them with. I don't want to buy a full size receiver as it will take up too much space.
I have seen many post pushing small amps for high end headphones. I'm wondering if something like that would work for a pair of bookshelf speakers.
would something like an MUSE i15w or Lepai TA2020+ work, and would it sound better than something like the edifier r1600t as they are pretty close in price.
