Now I'm not all too familiar with the memory management in chipsets/a64's.
It might be that the management is setup to go fill one stick then the next stick/page with the hd.
Maybe split the load, or.... my suggestion
Would it be possible (really cool) if someone made a program or something to decide which programs go to which stick of ram.
Say you have 1 pos 3-3-4-10 timed pc2100 stick in dimm slot 1, and a nice 2-2-2-5 stick of pc3200 in dimm slot 2. Instead of windows or whatever just dumping it to wherever you could set all your games/bandwidth intensive programs to use the stick in slot 2 instead of 1, for increased performance....
