I'm trying to put together a machine for my roomate by stripping a few old machine I have lying around. I want to give him my old PIII motherboard and proc because it's the fastest of the junk I have. The problem is that the secondary IDE channel is broken on the mobo. I need to be able to run 2 HDDs a CD-ROM and an internal zip drive on this thing.
What are my options for this thing. Should I get an IDE PCI card or go some other route.

Thanks for the help

I would probably go with a PCI to IDE riser card. You have to be careful though, I have had some of those conflict with the MOBO's BIOS.
