ide vs sata interface.

On my previous motherboard I only had 2 SATA connections..I used an IDE drive for storage and My SATA drives for os and games...
I now have a board with 6 SATA connections, so I have only SATA drives.....

I still got a bunch of pata drives. Couple 80gb, a 200gb, and a 300gb i just picked up for 97 shipped after MIR. Going to be building a file server with PATA drives till i expand it, because I have a P3 box with 4 IDE channels on the motherboard.

SATA is often cheaper then PATA these days

there is next to no or very very little differnce in IDE vs SATA interface simply because Harddrives can not fill 150mb or even 100m at that from IDE.
