IDE to SATA Converter

Hey,

If I use this converter:

1. will I convert it into SATA 2 connections or just SATA 1?
2. should have no difference in performance with a normal SATA 2 connector?

It does not say whether it supports 3Gbps signaling, however it doesn't really matter anyway. The fastest PATA interface was limited to 133MBps, i.e. less than the 150MBps that SATA supports.

While I have no experience with this device in particular, if it works as advertised, then you should be all set.
