Can anyone lead me to a good program that will allow me to re-tag mp3s (in full cd groups) that have messed up tags or none at all, hopefully with the help of an online database that will enter the information on its own so i dont have to do it all manually.

use tag&rename...it's a free download trial for 30 days, but an excellent program. I use it for all my mp3's/albums. it does group/batch editing and very easy to use. For getting cd info when ripping cd's you can also use cdex, i believe that's what it is. You can use it to connect to the online database (CDDB) for album and track names.

Tagscanner works very well for complete albums.
The best part is it's free. :)
Musicbrainz also works pretty well but their database is not always accurate
