Why not just get a clip-on mic?
JustinSane said:Thats cool too. Do headphones sound alot better when theres no mic attached?

agreed...the siberias are great...however...the bass could be better imo, it gets a bit choppy and just hard on the ears if bass boost is on (maybe thats whyTheBlueChanell said:I have teh siberia's they are wonderfully comfortable. From what I've read they are pretty much indentical too the Senn 485's w/ just a different casing. Although, I am thinking of picking up a pair HD555's I can get em for $60 off a friend. I love the siberia's comfortable and sound great, the mic is also really great quality.
For sale are the Audio Technica ATH-A500s Closed headphones.
$80 shipped
These are are in great cosmetic condition with the exception of wear on part of the earpads. The wear does no affect sound in any way.
seriously? cuz i think the HD485 are ugly ass shit and the Icemat looks so fucking cleannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn and comes with a microphoneTheBlueChanell said:I have teh siberia's they are wonderfully comfortable. ouchhhsco0oby said:i've upgraded from the PC150s to the icemat siberias, and IMO, you should go with the HD485s or ATH-A500s with a Zalman clip-on mic and you're set. The durability on the siberias are horrible. I bought them in February, and by March, the right ear has 6 layers of electrical tape holding them.
the first time around...i took care of them slightly, but they broke. however, when i sent them in for an RMA, they came back and have been wroking for a very long time mainly because i treat them with ALOT more care...they don't break if you treat them like their just a bit above normal. also, i found that if you take off oneside of the earcups without taking the other, it tends to break alot more easily...~GoaT~ said:I and almost evryone else who has a broken pair of Siberias took care of them. They are pieces of shit that don't last and aren't even that good.
ninja edit: you bumped an old thread why?

siberia's are great for gaming. they don't fail in 3d positioning and soudn great....however, sennheiser's are ALOT better in music imo. i have the 595's and they beat the siberias out in mid's and high's in every way possible. gaming is better, but the siberia's were great for gaming anyways. if you ahve the cash and listen to alot of music, go for the senn's.
no clueMatDef said:Hmm, how would they be compared to the AT 700's? I really liked the siberia's, but I also listen to music too.
