ICC / Color Difference - Can this be fixed

Monitor on Left is NEC EX231W - ATI 5750
Monitor on Right is NEC 2470WNX - ATI 5750

I'm not asking for perfection. I'm just asking if it is possible to bring the left most monitor closer in line with the right most monitor.

All colors but especially blues on the left most monitor are a very dreary almost greyish. The digital camera sadly does not capture this but it does capture the difference.

I've tried playing around with brightness and contrast and gamma but this does nothing in terms of changing the actual color. Cyan is still a very dull and dreary color on the EX231W.

Changing color profiles does nothing either.

Any suggestions or am I just SOL?
