I have finally gotten my Raptors into RAID 0 and have ventured into the OC'ing arena. Thus far I'm not using any great cooling (Volcano 10) but this is just practice for when all my real cooling gear gets in. I digress. The proc overclocks no prob, but every time I do, the onboard sound quits working. I check in the control panel and although the drivers are there for the various codecs, it is not seeing the device itself. The only way to get my sound back is to put everything back to reg. clock.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

I guess I'm pretty new at this. I just looked at a guide for OC'ing specific to my board and that was one of the things they mentioned. Hopefully that will solve my problems. Thanks!
 
Well, I'm officially a dumbass. I locked the AGP/PCI freq and the onboard sound works like a charm. I guess the PCI bus really doesn't like being OC'ed (That may be incorrect, I think I read that somewhere.) Thanks for the help. I'll be back in here when all my cooling gear gets here.
