IBT and Prime95???

run now i m running into a little problem with IBT and Prime95
in IBT i can only use stress test #2 which is the one using half of the RAM
because when ever i try the stress test #1 it show the 00000000000000000000000 error
anywayz in the half stress test i can pass it no problem
however when i try to do the blend test ( which is the one stress the RAM a little more ) i failed
does that mean my OC fail? or simply my CPU is stable but not my RAM?
 
probably means your memory is overclocked to high.. are you running the default divider or 1:1?
 
just tested... i guess it was too high?
i m using G.Skill DDR2-1000 and i set it to DDR2-1066...
now back down to DDR2-800 and i m running prime 95 problem free
and b4 the prime i did a half stress 10 cycle IBT and itz was fine too
so i m guessing if i can use the full stress test in IBT i might have already failed...
but that just a guess since i cant do it...
cuz i believe it should work in 1066 too... but oh well...
wait for some more help b4 i go back up there
but i m just curious is that my DDR2-1000 RAM cant go to 1066???
 
its probably factory overclocked ddr2 800.. crucial did the same thing with their ddr2 ballistix tracer 1066.. since the ddr2 800 could already do 1066 at 5-5-5-15.. crucial just factory overclocked it and sold it as 1066..

you may be able to go over 1000 if you loosen the memory timing.. just make sure your memory voltage is set within manufacture specs.. if you want to exceed ddr2 1000 you could try upping the voltage +.1 of what you currently have it set it.. had to do that with my ballistix tracer to break the ddr2 1000 barrier since its ddr2 800 rated at 2.1v
