iBook G4 warranty question

The speakers on my iBook G4 are getting really distorted. The only thing I really do with the machine sound wise is watch DVDs and listen to iTunes once in a while. I would not expect the speakers to sound like this after such a short time.

So is this covered under Apples standard warranty? Figured I would ask here instead of look through the book as different people have had different experiences with Apple warranty work.

It all depends on if it's considered "out of spec"... as none of us here will be able to hear your speakers.. I couldn't say for sure. Probably your best bet is to take it into an applestore to have it listened to. If it's abnormal, it should be taken care of by warranty.
