I bought this to connect the monitor to the videocard so I don't have to use the adapter when running the VGA cable. The problem is, I can't get any signal from the computer to the monitor. I have the Input selector to "2" which is for DVI. Just won't work... do I have the incorrect cable? To my understanding the monitor is DVI-A and the video card is DVI-I. I'm not 100% positive on this information though.
The PC/Video Card detects both modes, but when I choose it to run in Input 2 on the computer and then switch the monitor over to input 2 for DVI, it doesn't work, I just get a black screen. I have tried everything and the only thing I can think of is an incorrect cable.
