Here is my question. I have a Samsung 215TW LCD and it appears I have heavy input lag - or so it seems. I've checked out some videos on youtube and I have the same problem. I moved up from a Viewsonic 2025wm because I thought the Samsung would be much better in all areas and it didn't hurt to have component inputs either. Well the Samsung is killing me in gaming and I've decided to sell it and get the IBM monitor. It's 21" flat screen w/ approx 20" viewable area. I've never had a decent quality CRT before so I'd like some opinions.

What's the lifespan of these monsters?

How's the brightness/contrast? The Samsung displays colors very nicely. It has a S-PVA screen which not the best is still very good - minus the input lag I'm faced with.

What's a fair price? The gentleman is asking $75. What should I offer. He says it's in perfect condition. Text isn't blurry - no dings/dents on the screen. From the pictures it looks very nice. The problem is I will not be able to test it and I'm assuming he doesn't take returns

And the most important question - Is a CRT good for daily use as well gaming? Well I know CRTs aren't matched for gaming but I'm worried about daily use. I use my computer quite a bit and though I don't wear glasses - I'd like to keep it that way. Would this impact my eyesight if I use it for the next couple of years?

For people who own or owned this - Do you have any pictures? How's the quality? Anything I need to know before I pick her up?
