IBM M1015 + WD Reds...

I bought an M1015 a few months ago and have been waiting to put together my build, of course, right before I bite the bullet these new WD Reds come out.

I'm wondering if there will be any compatibility issues running with the WD Reds (which are SATA 3) and my M1015 (in IT mode).

Anyone know? Apparently the Reds don't have SATA 2 compatibility, or am I reading something wrong...
 
SATA3 is compatible with SATA2 and SATA1 by design. Besides, the M1015 isn't SATA2, it's SAS 6GBps, the professional equivalent of SATA3 (or, SATA3 + additional features).
 
Well, I can't guarantee anything, and I doubt someone here can, since the drives were launched today, but I don't see why not. The M1015 has compatibility troubles with motherboards, never heard of problems with HDDs, I have myself tried a lot of drives on it without any hiccup.
 
I'd be very surprised if there was any issue at all with the RED's and an M1015.
