IBM Discounts

Anyone work for IBM or have had a similar experience?

I'm a current IBM stockholder. Due to this, I can get a IBM laptop for a discount. Although, a relative of mine works at IBM. Would it be possible at all to combine both deals to get a cheap laptop? Or is the employee discount better than the stockholder discount?

I work from ibm and from what ive seen the discounts are the same, i ended up buying from dell like alot of others.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just curious though... how much is the employee discount? We talking like 10-15%? If that?

Well, most of the time, its a special deal, not a common discount. Like a few years ago we got a mailer for those all in one LCD computers for like 300 bucks, i bought 8, many others around me bought more.
