I just wanted to start a thread on this motherboard. Does anyone have any information on this board that they want to share (reviews, availability in North America, etc)?

I think this would be a great mini-ITX htpc solution. Similar to some of the stuff that Albatron offers, but Albatron's newest intel based ITX uses mobile CPUs.

What do you guys think?

I will agree with you there, widefault. Thanks for the heads up.

The dual gigabit would be a big sell for me. And it looks like it might be easier to get in North America.
 
Are these boards usually in the $400 - $500 range ?

I could live with 2 sata ports on my next build being that 500GB drives are under $100 now.
 
Yeah, paying upwards of $500 would not be out of the norm for a board like this.

I'm hoping Intel starts making boards like this sometime soon and undercuts the competition, like they seem to be doing to VIA with the D201GLY and D201GLY2.

I like to talk about these type of motherboards so the manufacturers can know that we are interested in products like these and that there is a market. Then, hopefully, there will be more competition giving better prices and products.

Let's hope that they read this forum. ;)
 
$390ish for the Commell on pre-order. If I didn't already have two "spare" mini-ITX boards and two other mini-ITX projects in the works, I'd consider one of these to replace my desktop system.
 
holyshit that thing is SMALL. man i want that..

i just built a picoBTX PC with C2D and 7600GT with this mobo. was 110$ so quite abit cheaper but not as small hehe. I love the system.. inside a tiny tiny picoBTX case.
 
crazy perhaps dumb question, but do any of these overclock? :D i like the idea of getting a nifty core2 processor and overclocking the crap out of it on a mini itx board. sends shivers up my spine thinking bout it. imagining 15,000+ 3dmark points. lol or 35fps on crysis dx10 with everything maxxed out. ;p yah... yeesh... ideas goin crazy.
 
I am working on getting one of the MI935 Boards, I will let you know how things go... depending on how it works out... I might buy that Commell pre-production model though...

Anyone know about buying pre-production models? how about bugs/glitches/errors and how common are they?
