Has anyone heard any rumors about when we might see an i9 Razer laptop? It's time to retire the 8 year old Dell E6410 and I like the idea of switching to a laptop that can dock with an external GPU- I know other options are out there, but I like Razer's products and their laptops are pretty solid.

never. razer doesnt do things like that. the closest company to do somthing like that would be sager/cleveo but even thats a strech as lga 2066 isnt realy a good laptop socket. sager/cleveo made a laptop with a full desktop 1151 socket in it making it the most powerful laptop out there as you can put the 8700k in it (6core) i am actually typeing on the older vertion of that laptop (lga 1150) and it has a xeon E3-1281 v3 (desktop) in it making it probrably one of the fastest on this fourm :p

Razer makes a thunderbolt eGPU dock for their (or any) laptops- there is also a 8950HK benchmark for a razer laptop out there, so they're clearly working on one, there just haven't been any announcements.

You can user the Razer Core with any laptop that supports 4 lane PCIE.
