i7 tested with Flight Simulator X?

Has anybody seen a review/preview of the new i7's tested with FSX? If not, would it be possible for HardOCP to incorporate FSX into their tests?

FSX is VERY heavily processor dependant so I think it would be a good test of the processor's power.

Was asked in another thread, reply was they dont play/have FSX already and probably wont buy it to test with, as I recall.

Thanks, Athlon, but that is ok. I don't want you spending money just for the sake of testing. I appreciate the offer though.

I predominantly play FSX and FS9, and am just wondering if waiting for the i7 is a good idea over just going for a good (updated) C2D solution.
 
Arclight: If you really want to see an FSX benchmark from [H] you could offer to donate a copy of the game. I don't know if Kyle'd accept it, but if so, you'd eliminate half of his explanation of why he isn't planning to do it.
 
I would love to see that aswell actually, when I get back from this deployment, Im going to be building a machine, and among other things, I want to do some flight sims on a 30inch monitor.
 
I have always wondered why they don't bench with FSX considering how much it takes to play the game at high settings and at a high resolution.
 
FXS need to be better coded, i am sure I7 will help "some" but if MS did a proper patch for it to use mlulticores properly.. that would help more
