i7 overclocking...is this ok?

Hey guys. I just put my order in for my Scythe Mugen 2 and Silverstone FM121 fan. Right now I am running my i7 920 D0 FPO/Batch 3901A257 Costa Rica 5/12/2009 @ 3.2 on the retail heatsink. The temps are 47-52c right now. The motherboard I am using is a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R rev 1.0. And the memory is 6gigs of DDR3 Corsair XMS3. The thermal compound I am using is Arctic Silver 5 grey.

Hopefully with the new heatsink and fan, I can get from 3.2 to 4gig. What I wanted to ask is....what are the steps I should take to do this? I know there are tons of threads here explaining how but if you could just summarize in couple of short words, I'd appreciate it. I know to up the bclk and the multi stays put at 20. I just get confused at the qpi and other stuff. The clock management portion of my bios I know to set all of them to disabled except HT. I just wanted to know what to increment. I know how to test with the intel cpu burn and core temp. I think there are about 3 settings I am going to mess with in the bios right? I already have the latest bios so I think I am good to go when the HS/F get's here.

I can give you some good pointers tonight when I am in front of my i7 and can give you what my settings are. There are not many changes needed to the BIOS.
One other thing - I had real problems trying to O/C my machine when I turned it on for the first time. It wasn't until after about a week of using it that the O/C worked much better.
I guess I attribute that to the TIM "curing" or breaking in.
 
OK, here is how I O/C my rig:
Ai OC Tuner = Manual
CPU Ratio Setting = 21.0 (Need to adjust this)
SpeedStep = Enabled
BCLK Freq = 190 (Need to adjust this - maybe start at 150)
PCIE Freq = 100
Dram Freq = 1523MHz

CPU Volt = 1.35
QPI/Dram Core Volt = 1.375
Everything else set to Auto

This assumes your dram is rated to 1600 and will operate at 1.375 volts
First you have to find out what CPU Ratio setting works best for your setup. Mine happened to be 21. Some have found that 20 and 21 don't work well, so they use 19 or whatever. No problem, you'll just increas the BCLK frequency a bit higher to get the max MHz. Next start adjusting the BCLK Freq up until it freezes or reboots. I used the Asus software called TurboV which you can operate in Windows. As I said, the first time I did this, I was really disappointed, as the most I could go was 3.4 GHz. I left it that way for about a week, then tried the above settings (21.0 x 162 = 3.4GHz) and went up one BCLK per 5 minutes. It took a while, but I was able to go to 4.3 MHz (21.0 x 205) and I left it there and did some real low CPU stuff without problems. When I started Prime95, it rebooted instantly. I repeated the whole process using P95 this time until it kept going for 4 hours, which was 3.990 MHz (21.0 x 190). I could go a bit higher as I don't ever use my computer at 100% for extended periods, but this way I have a little safety built in. BTW, Realtemp shows 38°C at idle and about 70°C under P95. Hope this helps.
