i7 mATX build advice

With my old SFF system stuck with a 245 athlon II, it's about time for me to upgrade the whole rig.

I've got my hands on an i7 950 and a MSI GTX 260 Frozr so far (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127464&cm_re=frozr-_-14-127-464-_-Product)

The remainder of the build will be formulated around the upcoming ASUS Rampage III Gene, and all other parts are still undecided.

With the Frozr GTX 260 being a fairly big gfx card, what mATX case is recommended? (I'm also looking more into mini towers instead of box design, but I'm up for anything).

After CPU, GPU, case and mobo, I still need a fairly beefy (say...750w minimum?) PSU, CPU cooler, and RAM, what would be your guys' top picks?

I'm also looking to maximize on space efficiency while still allowing space for everything (and potentially water cooling in the near future).
 
maximizing on space and efficiency in a mATX chassis is going to require a modular PSU as a point of design. I've got one for sale that meets your requirements, if you're interested. I'd also recommend a Corsair H50-1 or the ALC ECO as your choice of coolers, if you're into quiet operation and good dissipation. As for the chassis, if not a box then maybe something like the NZXT Vulcan? The Silverstone TJ08?
 
I was looking at the vulcan, but heard of its issue with the x58 mobo and the socket placement. Would a 750 be sufficient even if sli is considered?
 
not if you're going for a 470 or480... meh 470's maybe. on 260s, yes, that should be enough, provided you have sufficient 12v rails and dont buy a crap unit, you should be fine.
 
Might try the Seasonic 750 Gold it scores extremely well lately, and it is quiet.

I ran two GTX260s on a Silverstone 700W Strider in SLI with an i7 that was overclocked to only 3.2GHz so you should be fine with 750W if you are running GTX260s.
 
Corsair, Silverstone, Seasonic 750's will run SLI 470's and OC'd i7 just fine.

sabregen, what problems are you talking about with the Vulcan and X58's? I have built this setup before and even used an H50 and had no problems.
