I have my i7 running at 4 gigahertz and my ram running at 1600mhz and it idles at about 39c and hits on average 83c on most test.Im cooling it with the swiftec mcp655 and thats about on par with my dam zalman fan. What I need to know is if this is what this pump is doing or if you have this pump in a setup that does a better job let me know the setup.

From what I'm seeing (both online and in my own testing), you're seeing temps in line with other people. I'm running 3.8Ghz, on a MCP350 feeding a Swifty MCR320, cooling my I7 and a GTX280.

My idles are in the low 30's, and mid-60's at load.

When I was testing at 4Ghz, I was seeing as high as 87 at load.

never seen load reach 80c with my setup: i7 @ 4ghz, HT on, MCP355, PA120.3, GTZ, even when I ran linx for 8 hours straight, 25k problem size, ambient 75F. I attribute that to my rad fed by 6 fans in push-pull at 5v :)

Something is not right. Your temps are too high in relation to your gear. Before I started rebuilding my current system I never got close to 70 and I was using an Aquastream pump, Aqua Di, Aqua 360 Rad and I had 1 GTX 280 in the loop.

Thanks for this. I am starting a build that will have exactly this :)
