I need a vid card to finish the i7 build budget is $200 give or take $20 this would have to include tax and shipping. I'm a little partial towards ATI as I feel they have better drivers, but I'm not opposed to Nvidia either. Xfire/SLi set ups are fine but would prefer a single card solution. Not looking for anything more than I need. Just not really aware of where the price/value starts getting stupid. Oh and I would prefer the cooling to exhaust out the case.

275 seems overkill for my setup as does a 4890, not sure a single 260 or 4870 will be up to the task.

Is this card decent? 4890 I can get it for $240 shipped/taxed + there is a $15 MIR which brings it down to $225. I'm not sure if the OC card are worth the extra coin.

4870/gtx260 will do the job, just get the one you are more comfortable with, not other people.

i personally wouldnt spend the money on an OC card. you can do that yourself and it will be close to that one for free

Intel performs well with Nvidia cards. A lot of the newer games are designed to be optimized for Nvidia based cards. I'm not a fanboy, I'm just stating a fact. The i7 really shines on multi-GPU setup. I'd personally go for a GTX 260 Core 216.
