i7 930 factory cooling

ok guys quick question. whats the average i can OC a i7 930 with the factory cooler. also whats the best way to oc it to 4.1ghz cooling wise i.e watercooling or certain good air cooling devices
 
4.1GHz, you should do fine with high performance air cooling or Corsair H50 (no need a custom high performance water cooling)

Don't know bout the stock cooler though, i didn't even use that. I went straight for the H50 when I put together my 930 system. But I did manage to get it up to 3.5GHz at stock voltage 1.2v (with vdroop, so its lower than 1.2, CPU Z detected 1.16v). Maybe you can achieve at an even lower voltage, i don't know as I was aiming for higher clock so didn't test how low it can go on the voltage at 3.5GHz

I'd advice you to get a good air cooler or the H50 though, in order to get the most out of your chip.
