Does this work? It looks like I have slightly more than 4GB available in a 6GB machine right now. Any tricks on trimming down Win7? This will be extremely close if it works at all.

Try it first and let us know. Curious if it works. I would have already attempted it but I'm off -bigadv for this month..

I will in 3 hours and 40 minutes... :)

I though Kendrak was doing this now.

My i7 bigadv rig uses 750mb when idling, around 1200 to 1500 running bigadv. should have about 500mb to spare. they way win7 works is decieving. uses a ton of memory just idling. tries to stay away from the swap file but will release it when needed by programs.

I run an 860 with one GPU and I'm using about 2.2GB. Seems higher than most people are reporting.

Well, we are apparently out of bigadv at the moment. The 2GB machine is set up with Win7 running a regular A3 right now, and has 1.2GB available. I believe it will work for bigadv. I'll update as soon as I get one.

im running a bigadv and FAH is using 1200mb of RAM

Lots o guys with 5530s here lol

anyways, add one more dually that gets under 2gb, windows 7 64, but disabling features will only help

Well, I would add an update, but the stupid thing is running its 5th regular A3 as I type this. If it ever picks up a bigadv, I'll post the results.

it works..... My i7 just wasn't clocked high enough to get the bonus if I stopped it for any reason. So normal A3 now.

I'll confirm, it works with about 450MB to spare. I'll post some numbers once this machine gets through a few frames. I will say that triple channel at 1080 beats single channel at 1520 pretty handily so far.
