i7 920 build: Here we go...

My order of the i7 920, 6GB G.Skill DDR3-1600, TRUE 1366 kit and the Gigabyte EX58-UD4P arrived this morning. My excitement turned to disappointment when I realized I overlooked something: the Nforce RAID array isn't compatible with Intel Matrix.

As I don't have any spare HDDs lying around, I've no choice but to move some 2TB of data off my arrays to the other computers in the house. This is going to take a while... I don't think I will be able to play around with the i7 until tomorrow. I really should have done this ahead of time :(

In that one I wondered if I should get anew mobo or go i7. I ended up going i7 and also bought a 30" display at members recommendation, and I'm REALLY glad I did since I found one on ebay for a amazing deal. Thanks guys. :)

I'm testing the OC so far in open-air on a small table. My case doesn't have a ton of air flow as it was designed more for quietness rather than cooling, and I didn't want that to hinder my quest for the highest stable OC.

So far, I have had it at 3.6ghz 180 BCLK and 1.3v stable. All power saving disabled. Idle and load is 39 and 72C respectively, add or take a few degrees.

Right now I have it OCed to 3.8, 190 BCLK and 1.325v, Prime95 has been running for ~3 hrs so far with no problems. I had it at 1.318v but it BSOD after 2 hours. All other voltages are at stock.
