I need some help getting this system stable.

I run intel burn in test and its clear. I up the ram to 6gb and it will fail.
I can run 20 runs and it passes at standard stress.
When I play a game (crysis) it will run for 10-15 minutes and freeze up with loss of video. Did a gpu stress test and cpu stress test at the same time, and the system locks up.

Using the following setup.

I7 920 d0
P6T
G.Skill 1600 6gb ram
GTX 275
750 Watt Corsair PSU
I will post my CPU-Z screen shot to help.

Multi is actually x19 under load.

Really want to get this system game stable!

sounds like the problem might be you video card and the cpu overclock. can you pass a max size intelburntest @stock speeds? if not, its probably the ram. also what temp is you 275 at when playing crysis?

try running memtest86 to check your ram. If you have a different video card that you can put in, to test if it's the mobo and ram. How's the air flow in your case?

Im running a HAF 932 air flow doesn't seem to be the problem.

I will run memtest86 which would lead me to XMP profile is the issue.

If it is I can input the settings 9-9-9-24 1.5v and should I leave the rest of the timings auto?

Will report back!

Scratch that system keeps freezing playing crysis. GPU recovery, yet the gpu seems to run fine?

Are you using GPUz during the stress test, or otherwise logging GPU temp?

I had problems using the Asus software with my O/C, when I switched to just using the AI overclock in BIOS everything was silky smooth.

what makes you think it seems to run fine? you have a very odd definition of fine, that is for sure... try everything at stock settings, monitor your gpu temps, see what happens.

it runs fine under a gpu stress test. Actually I found the problem, it was cpu voltage and vtt. i7's can be weird i guess.

Not enough juice in the other settings, vtt, api ioh, ich. which is what made it stable.
