Why 870 costs at least $200 more than a 860?

870 is only a bit faster than a 860.

Am I missing something?

Nope, that's how intel does things. Buy a 860, overclock, spend the money you saved on something else, enjoy,

This. Why pay a price premium for a slightly higher clock speed when you can overclock and even surpass that speed.
