i7-7700k with PRIME Z270M-PLUS

Hi friends



I have a simple z270 motherboard, original model is ASUS PRIME Z270M-PLUS.

I would like to know how far I can proceed with an overclocking in it. I use an i7-7700k and am interested in overclocking.



any users of the forum know the board, have one or already had some experience with overclocking with it to share us?

Not all systems are created equal. I may have that same board with the 7700k, but my overclock will differ., Too many variables in play including if the chip is de-lidded.

You'll have to overclock it yourself and see how far you can get.
 
On Air, I have my system @4.9GHz. The only main issue I had was that the original RAM I bought from Crucial did not want to POST in this board. I had to use a different set of stick which at the time happened to be from Corsair. In all honesty, I have had this problem before, and I don't think its a manufacturer fault more than the luck of the draw when matching hardware. Sometimes things just don't play nice. Overall I am happy, but in hindsight I wish I got the 7800x for the extra PCIE lanes as I use a lot of add on cards.
