Why take a chance at $450? They have gone for cheaper on the forums here from more reputable sellers.

Dunno about you, but I would personally NEVER buy a used K or X CPU unless it was from an established member with a long and reputable trading history. You have no idea what they did with the chip, and for all you know it could have massively degraded and be on its way out already.

And for this particular seller, literally every single one of his/her posts on here has been about peddling his/her stuff. There is not one damn post that actually engages the community. The negative eBay feedback is just more icing on the cake.

I have a long and established trading history. If I am selling a chip,it's probably not the best chip in the world (unless I say it is) :D It may have been rode hard and put away wet..literally ..lol.

This is probably the worst response possible.

And a big reason I no longer trust anyone online. Thanks for continuing to support my decision to be stubborn about how I buy things.

The Fuck is happening in this world for people to act like this towards other people?

If I was ever to sell my 4930K I'd be sure to give a full disclosure on what it's been through and how much life I think it has left.

Though in all honesty I'd be more likely to run it to the ground then ask Intel for a new chip through the overclocking warranty than peddling "damaged goods" here.

It is what it is.I bench chips subzero and sell them :p cheep!
Sometimes they're very good ;) I still have to sell them to get other chips.
f'rinstance the last 4670K i sold was in the upper 25%..
Just ask..I'll tell you about it. :D
Most chips I sell are better than average. :p
