Ambient temps= 65-67F (17-19C)
stock settings on both computers

I built an i5 with the CM Hyper212 for a friend and using Realtemp 3.00 temps were 18-22C
In the same room was my q9450 with the Tuniq 120 and using RT 3.00 temps were 42-44C

Now after IBT (max stress, 1 test), which is the important part

i5 max temps were 49-55C
q9450 temps were 61-62C

Does this seem reasonable, or does some calibration need to be done on the realtemp for the q9450 (seems high for defaults)

OR, is there other recommended software used to test these max load temps?

I'm trying to straighten out some issues before we delve into OCing.

Looks fine to me. Real Temp is as accurate as you can get when it comes to temperature monitoring software.
