i5 Mounting in Antec 900

So I am about to assembling my PC update. I got the following components.

i5 750
MSI P55 GD65

I purchased a CoGage True Spirit heatsink.

I also got the 1156 Bolt-thru-kit.

My question is since my case does not have a hole behind the CPU will I need to cut out a hole in the case? The mounting bracket is not made out of plastic so I don't know if there will be any contact and conduction w/the case. I figured I might as well ask some more experienced members than guess.

Most of the backplates fit with no interference. No need to cut a hole, but assemble it and check for clearance.
