i5-760 thermal envelope

[Condition]

Running an i5-760 2.9Ghz (stock) on Corsair H100 liquid. Running around 32-38C idle/low load and around 45-49C under load. It has never actually gone above 49C no matter how hard or how long I push it.

Wondering is this is to be expected with the H100.
How much headroom do I have for overclocking (as far as heat is concerned)?

Sounds like you have a lot of OC headroom. Generally CPU temps under 70C load are fine.
