i5 750 OC Options

My rig is as detailed below in my sig.

I have a few questions about the i5 750 OC options. I currently have the following OC:

BCLK - 180
CPU Multiplier - 20
CPU i5 750 @ 3.6Ghz
CPU voltage - 1.2125V
DRAM voltage - 1.6V
CPU VTT - 1.142V
CPU PLL voltage - 1.8V
PCH voltage - 1.1V

This runs at ~30C idle and is stable. However, my RAM is currently under clocked at 1440 Mhz due to my BCLK being at 180 (i.e. 8 memory multiplier). The only other option would be to overclock my RAM to 1800 Mhz with a 10 memory multiplier.

I tried out the settings below just to see:

BCLK - 200
CPU Multiplier - 18
CPU i5 750 @ 3.6Ghz
CPU voltage - 1.2125V
DRAM voltage - 1.6V
CPU VTT - 1.3V
CPU PLL voltage - 1.8V
PCH voltage - 1.1V

Given that i increased the BCLK, i had to increase the VTT voltage. This OC ran at 19C idle. However, the VTT voltage exceeded the max for this chip (around 1.2V). The bonus here is that I could run my RAM at 1600 Mhz.

My question is, given the two options above, which one would you guys recommend (or other)?

The first option keeps my voltages down, runs hotter and requires me to under clock my RAM, and the second option has my VTT pretty high, runs cool and keeps my RAM at stock setttings. Thoughts?

NOTE: I don't really know much about voltages, so any insight would be sweet.
 
the difference in temp makes no sense since it shouldnt be running that much cooler on the second setup.. it should actually be running warmer since your putting more load on the NB.. but theres little to no real world difference between 1440 and 1600..
 
You might also try out an odd CPU multiplier, since in my experience on the 920 (750 is basically a 920 without hyperthreading as far as I understand it), odd multipliers require a good deal less voltage. When I did 200x20 it required something like 1.42V to be stable, now at 190x21 I'm stable at 1.35V. I could probably even go down a little more. I have a C0 though.

Something to think about.

I was not sure what was going on with the temps. It did seem a little odd that it was running under 20C, but that's the reading i kept getting for some reason.

I am trying an odd multiplier out (i.e. 19 x 190) to get around 3.6Ghz. I also dropped the CPU voltage to 1.2V and everything is going fine. Will keep dropping it and testing stability to see how low it can go.

Under load, the two settings above were running at 56C, the odd multiplier with a lower CPU voltage is running around 54C under load.

I will keep testing I think, dropping voltages and testing stability. 3.6Ghz works for me as I like to keep temps between 30C and 40C idle. No real reason why, just feel comfortable with that.
